Sonia Holgado

Hello, I'm Sonia Holgado, a graphic designer and visual artist based in Barcelona.

I have an insatiable curiosity for anything creative, and that has led me through many disciplines over the years — graphic design, photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, jewellery and collage. That same curiosity has taken me to live in different countries, with a significant part of my life spent in the UK.

My education has been as diverse as my interests. I hold a Postgraduate degree in Graphic Design from IDEP Design School in Barcelona, and have studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and the Barcelona Arts and Crafts School. In addition, I hold a Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Sheffield.

Exploring different cultures, landscapes and people has been a deep source of inspiration, enriching my creativity and broadening my perspective both personally and professionally. Nature, travel and the sea find their way naturally into everything I make, whether I'm designing, photographing or creating collage.
